  1. I can’t wait to try this recipe, I have never made sausage gravy. Can you tell me, would I be able to freeze half to save for later?
    Thanks, love your cooking!

    1. Honestly, I haven’t tried freezing it before but maybe you could try it out with a little bit to see if it works. Let me know how it goes. Thanks so much for your support!

    1. Hi Brock. I was replying to Justin when I saw your post. I too have gone through what you are going through now. I had 2 major surgeries plus chemo and radiation. Celebrated my 10 year anniversary last November. To regain my strength back and help my immune system get back to normal, my surgeon suggested I go by Starbuck’s and get a Passion Tea. He said it was going to help me. I ended up buying everything I needed to be able to make 2 large drinks a day.(I can also get all my Starbuck’s Tea supplies in Palermo)Within 2 weeks everyone I saw was mentioning how healthy I looked. Brock, I even felt better. Now it’s been 10 years and yes, I must be addicted because I still drink 2 a day. I don’t drink coffee, or other teas or sodas. I’ll sip on lemonade I make throughout the day. I’m a 70 year old Sicilian Nonna who lived long enough to be around when my Grandson was born almost 5 years ago. And, been able to Whatsapp video call with him several times a week. He lives in Cape Town, South Africa. Which is not at all close to our olive farm in Palermo, Sicily or our home in Houston, that we had to get while I was going through my treatments etc.for many years at M.D. Anderson. We still go back and forth, I’m a dual US/Sicilian citizen. Brock, I’m sending you prayers and many blessings, Robin.(definitely try Junsin’s Sausage and Gravy!)

My husband didn’t think I could make sausage gravy that he would like, so of course I considered it a challenge! This recipe blew him away! It was a huge hit, he and my son ate almost the entire pan!

Hi Justin. My late Dad who was in the Air Force used to make this when I was a young child. I’d totally forgotten his S.O.S that he learned how to make when he was in the military. He used to make it with Hamburger or Sausage. Thank you so much for sharing your recipe. It brought back many memories of him. He passed the day after Elvis died, so long ago. And yet, even reading this recipe brought back so many beautiful memories. Many blessings, Robin.( a 70 year old Sicilian Nonna).
