Bread Pudding

A sweet dessert for the entire family.

Materials

  • 1 12 pack of sweet rolls
  • 1 quart heavy cream
  • 12 oz evaporated milk
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
  • Optional: 1-1 1/2 cups caramel morsels raisins, chocolate chips or blueberries
  • Optional: caramel sauce to drizzle

Instructions

  • Start out by preheating the oven to 325°F.
  • Cut the sweet rolls and place them in an oven safe dish. Then, place the dish in the oven to toast 10-15 mins or until golden brown.
  • In a large bowl, combine the pudding ingredients with a whisk.
  • Carefully remove the pan from the oven (add optional toppings [if you should desire], then pour over pudding mixture to cover and soak all the bread). Optional- cover with foil and place tray on top for weight and refrigerate overnight before baking).
  • Next, place in the oven covered for 70 minutes, remove foil cover and bake an additional 10-15 minutes or until as golden brown as desired.
  • Let sit 10 minutes to cool before serving.
