  • ½ onion cut into strips
  • Burger sauce to taste **see burger sauce recipe
  • Salt Pepper, garlic powder to taste

Instructions

  • Starting out, cut and cube your sweet potato to bite sized pieces and place in a bowl. Coat the pieces in olive oil and season appropriately to your taste. Mix until everything is coated evenly.
  • Next, place the sweet potato pieces in your air fryer or oven flat and spaced out and cook at 400°F for 12-15 minutes or until fork tender and outside is crisped as desired.
  • tip: flip or toss halfway to help cook evenly.
  • Remove and set aside for plating.
  • Next, in a large pan, brown and mince ground beef to bite sized pieces. Season to taste; use paper towel to remove excess grease if needed.
  • Remove beef from the pan and lightly brown onion pedals if desired before setting aside.
  • Lastly, in a large bowl, place between ⅓-½ potatoes in a decent sized bowl or plate. Then place the same portion of ground beef over the top of that. Next add onions, lettuce and sauce… toss and enjoy!
