First off, mix flour, salt and baking soda.
In a large bowl, mix butter and sugar.
Then, add egg and vanilla; mix completely.
Slowly add dry mix into your dough until throughly incorporated but don’t over mix.
Next, fold in the chocolate chips.
Put the dough in the fridge until ice cold (about 30 mins).
Then, bake at 350°F for 11-15 minutes, depending on cookie sizes.
Once the cookies are out of the oven, carefully put them on a cooling rack for at least 10 minutes to let cookie set up.
