Cheesy Sausage Balls

The yummiest grab-and-go sausage bites around! These are great as a quick, prepped breakfast or snack during the middle of the day. Pop these into the air fryer or even eat them later in the day straight from the fridge. These are simply THAT good! Here’s what you’ll need to make this drool-worthy recipe:

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 1 lb shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 box Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix

OR if you can’t find the Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix, here’s the alternative recipe:

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage 
  • 1 lb cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups Bisquick biscuit mix
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • Onion powder to taste
  • 1 Tbsp parsley
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

Let’s get baking!

First off, mix all ingredients in a bowl.

Next, form into balls.

Place in lightly greased muffin tin(s) or on a cooking sheet.

Bake at 350°F for 30-35 minutes.

Melt 1/4 stick of butter. Mix in some parsley for garnish. 

Brush butter/parsley mixture over balls. Let food cool for a few minutes.

Enjoy to the fullest! And don’t forget to double the recipe if you want to share with anyone else, because these are so good you won’t want to stop eating them!

Use Bisquick OR Red Lobster Biscuit mix

Ingredients

With Red Lobster Mix

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 1 lb shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 box Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix

With Bisquick Mix

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 1 lb cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups Bisquick biscuit mix
  • cup milk
  • Onion powder to taste
  • 1 Tbsp parsley
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
  • Next, form into balls.
  • Place in lightly greased muffin tin(s) or on a cooking sheet.
  • Bake at 350°F for 30-35 minutes.
  • Melt ¼ stick of butter. Mix in some parsley for garnish.
  • Brush butter/parsley mixture over balls. Let food cool for a few minutes.
  • Enjoy to the fullest!
