Chex Mix
The OG, fan-favorite, most customizable snack that works for all occasions… Chex mix! This recipe shows how I make it, but obviously you can add or subtract whatever you want to make it your own.

Here’s the grocery list of things you’ll need:
- 18oz box of Wheat Chex
- 18oz box of Corn Chex
- 4 cups of Kix cereal
- 7oz of cheese crackers
- 2-4 cups of Bugles
- 16oz bag of mini pretzels
- 16oz of peanuts or cashews
Things for the sauce to pour over the mix:
- 2 lbs Butter
- 2/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 4-6 Tbsps creole seasoning
- 3-4 Tbsps garlic powder
- 4 Tbsps preferred hot sauce

Let’s get cooking!
Start out by preheating your oven to 225°F.
In two large aluminum pans, pour in all Chex ingredients equally and mix.
In a large pot, melt butter and while gently whisking, add Worcestershire sauce, seasonings and hot sauce.
Once everything is whisked together, pour the mixture evenly over the top of the Chex in both of the pans and mix carefully.
Bake for 4 hours, stirring every hour to keep the tops from getting overly toasted.
Carefully remove and let the Chex mix cool before placing it in ziplock bags to give away or enjoy later.
