Chicken Spaghetti
Nothing is more cozy than a big serving of creamy, chicken spaghetti with a touch of razzle dazzle and a slight kick. This recipe is definitely a family favorite and soon it will be a favorite in your house, too!

Here is the list of things you’ll need to create this hug in the shape of food:
- 3 chicken breasts
- 20oz cream of chicken
- 16oz cooked spaghetti
- 1 can rotel
- 16oz shredded Colby Jack cheese
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- Salt, pepper, garlic powder, Italian seasoning to taste
- Optional* 1/2 chopped onion

Let’s get cooking!
Start by placing chicken, cream of chicken, rotel, minced garlic, onion* and all seasonings in a crockpot on low for 4 hours or until chicken hits 165°F.
Next, remove the chicken and chop or shred to bite sized pieces and return to the crockpot.
Add all the cheese, cooked/drained pasta and sour cream, stirring until combined.
Finally, season more as needed until it’s to your liking. Add parsley as garnish if you want to make it a touch more fancy. Enjoy!

Brother, it says add the cream of chicken and rotten? Ha!
Sorry, I’m an old English teacher
Thank you! It has been fixed now.
The description before the recipe card still says rotten.
Awesome meal. My husband really likes it. I also served it to our church group.
I had never had a meal like this before, and I absolutely love it! I told my entire family about it. Thanks for sharing it! 🙏🏻🎉
It is a family favorite over at our house as well! Thanks for sharing the feedback.
The ONLY meal I can make for our family dinners with all the picky eaters and. EVERYONE loves! We love your page and videos! Makes me feel more comfortable cooking!
Looks great! Thanks for sharing!
Ive tried several recipes so far. All have been great. Keep posting.
We love this. Easy to come home and just finish supper. Served with Texas toast.
Can I put this in the oven or do stove top? No crockpot.
Thanks, I love your videos and praying for your wife🙏
Marcia in Texas.
Yes, although I’ve never tried it. I will have to try that someday!
How can I make this a freezer meal
In my opinion, this meal is better made and served fresh. I am unsure if it would taste as good after it’s been frozen. I suppose you could take a serving size and freeze it to experiment and see if it’s good.
Can’t wait to try it
Is there any way that you could use canned chicken and do this in an instant pot?
You could give the canned chicken a try. Not quite sure personally.
Made it last night for my friends, we all enjoyed it immensely, and the recipe got passed to the ones that wanted it, so it is making the rounds as one of our weekly get togethers meal, Black Olives makes a nice touch too
We don’t have rotel in Canada. Can I just use regular diced tomatoes or diced stewed tomatoes?
Yes, whichever is the closest would probably work. It would be a good experiment. Let us know how it goes!
Rotel is in Canada, I’m on the East Coast and bought it at Atlantic Superstore yesterday.
Thanks for sharing this recipe.
3 chicken breast are approximately how much by weight? I want to use boneless / skinless chicken thighs.
I’m going to fix this today. I saw your pic at West Baden Springs. We live a few miles away. Glad to have your delicious Hoosier recipes!
Made this for my family today. Everyone loved it. Don’t have a slow cooker, so I just used my Dutch oven in the oven on 375 degrees for about 45 minutes. It was absolutely delish!! Thanks for sharing the recipe :))
Made this one for my family, it was gone within minutes! Super creamy and you get that slight acidity from the tomato chunks that pairs perfectly with all of the seasonings and the tender chicken. The flavors all meld together beautifully in this simple masterpiece of a dish, I couldn’t recommend it more!!!
Thank you so much for this recipe. I made it on the stovetop tonight and it turned out so well. I sauteed the chicken with an onion in avacado oil and then added the rest of the ingredients.
My family really liked it and that was a win for me. I have two tough critics at the table.
Thanks again. Following for more.
This was awesome!! Made it and my family loved it. Gonna make it for all my guys at the music store. Thanks Justin!!
