Fire Roasted Salsa

Have you been asked to bring a fun side to a get together? Look no further than this delicious, fire roasted salsa! It’s super simple and the perfect introductory recipe for young chefs in the making! Salsa is a favorite around our house. It’s good as a snack, a side to a bomb burrito recipe or even on top of some chicken in the crockpot with some rice. Try it out!

What you need to make this:

  • 2 cans fire roasted tomatoes
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 Tbsp cumin
  • 1 can green chilis
  • 2 Tbsps minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup diced jalapeño
  • 2 Tbsps lime juice
  • 2 Tbsps cilantro

Let’s get cooking!

This snack is easy to make! Nothing too complicated, which makes it great for younger helpers to make. All you have to do is blend all the ingredients together and serve with chips.

*Add more jalapeño for heat.

*Add salt and cumin to taste if needed.
